Tips for running icebreakers
Answer the first question yourself to set the tone and the length. Keep answers to about a minute, let people pass if they want to, and remove questions that don’t fit your group before you start. In a large group, use the random team generator first and run the questions in small groups.
Questions and answers
Are these questions OK for work?
Yes. They avoid personal topics such as politics, religion, relationships and money, so they work in meetings, training sessions and onboarding.
How many questions should we use?
One question per person is enough for a quick start. For a longer session, spin a new question for each round.
